Born and raised in Mill Valley.  Graduated from Northeastern University of Boston with a Major in Political Science, Law and Legal Studies emphasis, and a Minor in Psychology.  I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2001, and I am a member of the National, California, Marin, and San Francisco Association of REALTORS®. In 2001 I started in the mortgage business working with Jim Shroyer of Home Thrift Mortgage, Inc. as a loan agent obtaining purchase and refinance mortgages for my clients. 

In 2004, I started working in the real estate business with buyers and sellers and quickly recognized my mortgage background to be extremely useful, and at times critical, to my real estate clients.  Prior to real estate I was Vice President of Institutional Finance for an investment banking firm.  I was responsible for identifying, contacting, and negotiating terms with public companies in need of raising capital through private equity financing.  It was a natural progression for me to pursue obtaining financing for individuals, and now to real estate, with the considerable amount of contracts, negotiations, deadlines, and emotions involved.
